К. К. PAVLOVA AS THE TRANSLATOR OF HEINRICH HEINE’S POEM

 The article deals with the analysis of the interpretation of Henry Heine poem «Ich weiß nicht, was soll es bedeuten…» carried out by K. K. Pavlova in 1839. The poem is a part of the third poem cycle «Die Heimkehr» (1823–1824) from the famous book «Buch der Lieder» (1816–1827). Pavlova preserves the individual peculiarities
of the Heine’s style but tends to make some lexicon units abstracted. In the interpretation of the Heine’s poem we can find the reflection of Pavlova’s creative original features, such as her inclination to add artistic details and creation of new motives. However, in spite of content contradictions, she preserves the image and the subject plot of the Heine’s poem.
